A new and significant project for Eurospin Lazio
On November 21, 2022, the Logistics Business Unit started a new and significant project at Passo Corese (RI) for Eurospin Lazio. The client, experiencing significant growth in the market, entrusted Brivio & Viganò, in collaboration with the LGD cooperative, with the complete management of the warehouse (covering about 61,000 square meters) and control of all logistics flows, primarily focusing on the two main activities: goods inbound and outbound.
The warehouse has four main departments: general merchandise, fresh products, meat, and fruits and vegetables. For each department, specific productivity targets and different logistical techniques have been set to improve efficiency. The platform management was entrusted to Ivan Bartoletti from LGD, with the support of a deputy warehouse manager and four department heads, currently employing approximately 160 people to carry out all activities.
In terms of logistics, the full pallet mix stands at 58%, while the remaining 42% involves consolidated goods. The fleet for internal warehouse movement consists of 125 vehicles. We are confident in reaching all our goals and hope to continue contributing to the project with our best efforts.
